Building management at UCSD's CalIT2 hired our team at the prototyping studios to develop a housing for their stairwell participation monitors. The monitors would be placed at each floor, where employees could swipe their badge to keep track of the times they used the stairway instead of the elevator.
While the building managers never deciding to implement their project, they were pleased with the design.
I designed the thermoformed acrylic housing to match the aesthetic and price sensitive requirements.
