Synergy Labs used this coverplate to house their electrical board capable of using sensor activity to control room conditioning. The units was placed in lecture halls and offices around UCSD campus and showed a 15% increase in energy efficiency.
I designed the coverplate and then further designed fixturing and programming to machine standard Nylon plate covers - more than two dozen were made and installed.
